The difference between fighting the Lamanites, Zoramites/Amalekites, and Nephites was this:
The Lamanites had swords, cimeters, stones, and slings.
The Zoramites/Amalekites had swords, cimeters, stones, slings, and clothing.
The Nephites had swords, cimeters, stones, slings, breastplates, arm shields, head plates, and thick clothing.
But most significantly, the Nephites had taken upon the the most important piece of battle armor. They had taken upon them the name of Christ.
