Likening the Scriptures

This morning I had the BEST scripture to share during family scriptures. Because it was a new application I had never contemplated before.

Listen up! Because it was an ISAIAH scripture!
"Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil; that put darkness for light, and and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20)
And I realized, for the first time, that maybe - just maybe - Isaiah was referring to chocolate!

  1. That sounds exactly right. For me, not bitter and dark, but sweet, light and milky. Could call it evil, but oh so good.

The thing I don't understand right now is I've been stuck in Romans just trying to get through Paul's letter's. But I get Isaiah.

  2. When I shared this scripture the other morning, I never heard my children laugh so hard for so long so early in the morning!

    Gotta LOVE Isaiah!
